After the government decided to mess with space and send out a universal message, they start to regret it. Asteroids were sent to earth and split open on impact, leaving monsters to roam the earth and kill off humans. The robots that were supposed to help humans in everyday life suddenly changed their own coding and attacked the humans.
The alien like creatures that emerged from the asteroids have been labeled as, Zixuls. When the apocalypse first started nobody believed it, until it was too late.
If you were lucky you got to survive, but the world was broken. Barely any food, animals are going extinct, human life is dying.
Who will stand up for the world? Who will fight to make sure the Zixuls are defeated? After all, it's every man for themselves at this point. All the brave souls are gone, there is nothing left to live for.
But there will be people who work together to try to get everything back to normal, even if they need to start from square one and rebuild humanity. How will this end for those people? Who will they meet? Will they die protecting each other, or die from someones mistake?

His pale golden eyes stared down at him with a neutral expression on his face, almost innocent with the way he blinked slowly and the near ends of his mouth were cladded in pudding. That little pudding ravager! “Me?”
Tsukasa stood there as Rui, the mysterious being he came to know as a dessert robber, took another gallop of pudding inside his spoon and ate it while watching him. Tsukasa's left eye twitched.
Maybe he should've listened to Minori when she suggested using a crucifix, holy water or an ouija board.
