And now it's the summer after graduation, the last summer he ever spends in Hawkins, spends with Mike Wheeler who Will Byers has been trying to get over for the past two years among other things such as trying to pretend he isn't actively falling apart.
When Max, Lucas and Dustin all leave town for a week, leaving Mike and Will to each other. A series of explosions occur between them, decisions are taken, mistakes are made and things change.
