Summary
Tim was 8 years old when he was orphaned. His parents were not dead, but they had fled the country, leaving him behind. Tim, who had no home or family to return to, had slowly gotten used to his life. The first time he thought he could have a family again was when he started working with the bats. But it had been drilled into his mind that they were all just his coworkers, he had been taught over and over again that he had no one and his place. Everyone had taught him that he was an employee, a substitute, a placeholder.
When he brought Bruce back, he had limited the time he spent with them to just preparing for patrols and reporting after patrols, and going to the cave where he went to get first aid in case of injury. He was slowly preparing to withdraw from his lawless life, or at least separate himself from the bats completely. But he didn't know that no one was planning to leave him, on the contrary, they would cling to him like a leech.

There’s a demon problem in Gotham. Again.
But this time, it’s not Batman, or the other magical users who gets the call — it’s Nyxie. Pop idol by day, demon hunter by bloodline, and the reigning champion of glitter-based exorcisms.
Armed with cursed lyrics, a microphone that doubles as a glaive, and zero patience for bureaucracy (or possessed vending machines), Nyxie’s been sent to clean up the city before things escalate. Too bad the escalation’s already here — and it wears a cape.
Because Gotham’s vigilantes? They’re weird. Like “might-be-demons-themselves” weird. And one of them — Red Robin, the broody genius with entirely too much brain and bone structure — keeps showing up at all the worst times. And worst of all? He’s kind of cute.

Kon saw those marks now on Tim's chest, saw them while Tim seemed to still sway in place.
Tim didn't taste quite as sweetly as Kon had always thought. Tim tasted of mixed bourbon and vodka, hints of smoke as Kon's tongue skated around Tim's mouth. No matter the flavor, Tim still tasted exquisite, still tasted hotter than Disco Hell.
Tim's tongue poked out to wet his lips, and Kon saw it stop a little on his bottom lip where Kon had bitten down a little too hard.
Shaking thighs held tightly on Kon's sides, he lifted one over his shoulder and bit the meaty part of Tim's thigh. He was rewarded with another moan that shot down his spine and into his soul.
Kon recognized the same bite on Tim's thigh, actually multiple bites. He saw Tim's thighs where the boxers rode up, and he saw hickeys and bites tattooing them.
