Summary
This is the lore and history for an original mythos of monster people that I am working on. There are maps, author's notes in the beginning, and a whole textbook worth of fictional history covering the creation of the world, the gods that inhabit it, the wars the people fought, the various monsterkind that inhabit it, and how it eventually comes into contact with Earth (because of course it has to), and lots of other things! It takes inspiration from a lot of different folklores and media, so click and check it out!
Note: Lore doc is finished, so this story is going to be updated every four days or so until it's done.
Latest World News: Gulfarin experiences an explosion in biodiversity as new species fill the empty ocean. Adja and Nile founds itself as new Gulfarin regions in 1297 A.R. and 1088 A.R. respectively, becoming allies against Metacarona.

Lando's a folklore geneticist fresh out of his PhD. He bums around his shared flat in Berlin, goes on mental health walks, gets stoned regularly, and tries to convince funding bodies (and himself) that his research is worth supporting.
Oscar is a rising star in the world of motorsports who accidentally discovers himself to be the carrier of a previously unknown, but seemingly very dangerous Gene, which could easily end his career and potentially a few lives.
Fred, Lando's roommate and Oscar's friend, may have a solution to both of their problems. -
