He was warned, warned that things would be different as time worked at a different pace in Heaven and on Earth. Castiel was different, he was broken and he was missing memories.
With the threat of the Archangels gone, Dean is determined to get his life back in order and his life includes Castiel, memories or not. Mikael’s eyes flash with a slight twinge of hurt, smile faltering. “What? What—no, no I’m not.” He takes Wil’s hands in his own, squeezing them tightly as his eyes beg Wil’s to listen. “Is it not perfect? I came up with a solution on my own!”
“As much as I admire that,” Wil releases one hand to ruffle Mikael’s dark curls, “that sounds impossible. We can’t just turn back time.”
“We don’t need to. We need to bring it to the present,” Mikael says.
