For reasons I couldn’t name, I invited him to travel with me.
A month of journey passed in the blink of an eye.
Before we parted, he held my hand and said a gentle goodbye in both Chinese and Russian.
"Goodbye, Я люблю тебя."
Only later did I learn what those Russian words meant - "I love you."
