A little bit of book espionage later, and things spiral slightly out of control when Draco and Hermione find themselves sucked into the book. The only way out? Act out all the tropes (and try to not fall in love in the process).
This is a slow-burn, sort-of-enemies to lovers fic (they're not really enemies, they just really like annoying each other). It's heavy on dialogue and banter, isn't overly angsty, and is, of course, packed to the brim with all our favourite tropes.

First thing I’ve written, so please be patient with me! Fic is finished and I’ll likely post one chapter a week till it’s all up. OC Seren is convinced by Dumbledore to sign up as a member of the Order of the Phoenix, where she is tutored by Severus Snape.
There is some violence, gore, and somewhat graphic description of torture etc although I personally don’t think it’s too bad. (I’ve read worse!) but if you’re sensitive to this then please be aware.
Our story focuses on the central relationship between these two main characters, with themes of growth, love, forgiveness and acceptance/ moving on from past trauma.
Don’t know if this is relevant or necessary to add but I’ve been working on this for about ten months and have had NO AI used at any point.
I fundamentally disagree with using AI for writing, just to make my stance on that clear ❤️

It also doesn’t help that her friends are all busy preparing for the next school year and the third years’ departure. So, no one can help her prepare for the next school year as an official student. Thanks to a ‘gracious’ Headmaster, she at least gets to take a break from her duties as a ‘fixer’ and gains a new house member once again. Yet, this new house member may hold even more secrets and magic even far more mysterious.
