Struggling with their traumatic pasts, futures, gay identities, and internalized homophobia, lots of angst ensues as they discover parts of themself and build a new relationship.

“Come on, rent in New York is fucking expensive, and I know you have money saved up from working at The Squack, that would give you at least a month or two to find some sort of job, and… and…” Will scratches his neck, shifting his stance a bit nervously, “and honestly, I’d rather do it with you. Move to New York I mean.” He says the last part quickly, a slight blush crossing his face.

Dalton wants to kill urans and rise to the rank of sergeant, but he must do so while keeping secret the fact that he is considered a harpy because he was once called a venus.
