This wasn't my first idea that came to me as part of the series, but it felt right to cover first. The story of how Rumi's parents decided to ask the Nightwatcher for a child.
I know based on the lore mixed race children between the Singers and Humans has to be possible, but part of my future ideas involved Rumi being something a bit beyond the norm. This paves the way for that. Assuming these ideas still won't let me go I'll be moving on through some backstory for each of the girls, them finding each other, and their paths as Knights Radiant in their various orders.
