Summary

A story you know, with a few new elements twisted in. A reimagining of the Fallout 4 storyline, told through the eyes of a woman just trying to pull her life back together. A slow burn, Kat starts to learn that Home isn’t the place, but the people you have in your corner.
I tried to write this in such a way that it could be enjoyed by anyone—even if they don’t have any experience with the Fallout series. If you like grounded, character-driven, post-apocalyptic stories with some mild sci-fi elements, I think you’ll find something you like.

Nate's life was pretty good. His wife recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, they were almost done paying off their house, and he was finally beginning to get used to retired life. Him and his family had truly achieved the American dream. Unfortunately on October 23rd 2077 Nate and Nora watched in horror when they learned of an impending nuclear attack.
Now Nate is forced to learn how to live life in the wasteland 200 hundred years later while setting out on a quest to find his missing son while learning to live in a world with new unknown creatures, and machines beyond what he previously knew.

Seventeen years ago, the man who would later be known as The Courier walked into a cave as a person, but did not quite leave as one. He'd aquired a passenger of sorts, a parasite, as he would call it. But regardless of what it was, it was spreading, and it would inevitably take over one day. And it was because of this that he knew he would have to leave his home in the Mojave behind.
The year was now 2287, and he'd left everything he'd ever loved in the dust as he had maybe another year left before his end. Putting as much distance between him and the Strip, Morgan found himself in the Commonwealth of Massechusetts. As he traveled, he would be hunted, shot, had his mind merged with someone else's, helped the people around him, and even learn to let others in again, as friends, and maybe more. But things would take a turn for the worst when the Vault up the hill from his base opened up, leading to a series of events that would rattle the entire Commonwealth, and lead to his inevitable end.

Summary
I was reading a fic that handles the Shaun relationship in a very interesting way and I thought, "God, imagine someone with my hyperspecific parental trauma being thrown into that situation." Then I remembered saying just like two days ago that Fallout 4 was a great vehicle for self-insert fic and thought, "Ha! Imagine if I actually wrote that! I could even fix the ending!"
Sixty thousand words later, it's a stream-of-consciousness mess, but it's certainly fun to write.

Summary
Female Sole Survivor, Gladen Reed (formerly Gladen Smith in 2077), exits Vault 111 to find the world irrevocably changed. Unsure of how to proceed, the pre-war woman seeks out an identity upon the Wasteland, motivated by survival and closure. At first, it seems the only hostiles to face against on the Commonwealth are creatures such as ghouls, bloatflies and the occasional Raider. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Not everyone has the interests of others at heart, and Gladen will have to decide how best to deal with the ruthless nature of a selfish world.
Joining up with The Brotherhood seems the most logical step. However, it gets complex as feelings arise for her commanding officer. As time goes on, it becomes difficult to determine if what they're fighting for is really the right thing to do. A moment of betrayal changes everything, creating an entirely new chapter to navigate.

This is about Nora, (Anora), the female sole survivor in this Fallout 4 story. She wakes up from what she thinks is a series of long nightmares while trapped in a frozen world only to enter a new nightmare, made of fire. A longer one. This a story about her travels in this post-apocalyptic hellscape, finding love with Mayor John Hancock, and reflecting on the price of freedom. Not canon, I enjoy going off script. Nate was abusive and she is happy to be free. She is sober, for good reason, and there will much discussion about that when getting to know Hancock. My Nora is intelligent, resilient, and meticulous. She can't wait to leave her own mark on the new world.

Marinette and Damian have a hard time on their hands, but at least they have each other with them.
