Once the pathway to the Institute becomes clearer than ever, Nora is forced to make an impossible choice: save her child or save her friends. Threats against the people she cares about aren’t something Nora takes lightly, and she'll do anything to ensure her partner's safety. Even if that means putting herself in danger.
She and Deacon do a reconnaissance mission that leads to killer robots, cool cats, false allies... and sexual innuendos?!? Somewhere along the way, Nora starts developing feelings for her partner. Feelings that would end their partnership the moment Desdemona found out. So she buries them and keeps moving forward, never noticing that the man beside her has been keeping his own secret for far longer than she could guess.

Summary
Just 6 months previously, the Commonwealth was warm with hope. The Institute was destroyed, the Raiders were decimated, and the Gunners were driven to their southern strongholds. The Commonwealth was under a new government, with a fair constitution. And the Sole Survivor, Nathaniel Prescott, with his new wife, once again felt love. Now, things changed.
The uneasy truce between the Brotherhood, Railroad, and Minutemen, was shattered when the Brotherhood stormed fort Independence, Kidnapped the General's wife, crushed the Minutemen armies, sacked Sanctuary Hills, and sent the General into exile. Just 5 years after the fall of the Institute, the Commonwealth plunged back into anarchy, taring itself apart over red and blue flags.
Standing on it all, many individuals across the Commonwealth must either stand, or fight, to seek it through the night.
TLDR; A Game of Thrones-inspired series about the middle stages of a Brotherhood-Minutemen war, following a Minutemen ending, which foreshadows the eventual conflicts we see in the show.
