Quill King had one, simple goal: Visit his twin sister, and celebrate her successful graduation from the FBI academy. He deserved a break from school, right? Apparently not. Was it fate that screwed that over for him, or was it another case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time?
Quinn King was better working with animals than with people. It was why she had worked as a dog handler in the military, and now again with the FBI. Or rather, that's what was supposed to happen. Story of her life, and how she can't seem to catch a break.
The Commonwealth is not a forgiving place nor is it for the faint of heart. The King twins, however, aren't quitters and will chase the ghosts of the past to find out their place in this wasteland future. And who knows? Maybe they'll get those answers and more along the way. Surprisingly, Hancock doesn't murder him for breaking into his strong room and wounding Fahrenheit. Instead, he offers Nate a deal: the Sanctuary settlers can winter in Goodneighbor if Nate works off his debt by becoming Hancock's bodyguard and travelling companion.

Summary
This is (likely) (no longer likely...it WILL be) a full trilogy novelization of my conception of a realistic run through of Fallout with a Female Sole Survivor. After my first run through as a male (with a war veteran background) I tried to rationalize why a female sole survivor, as a lawyer, wasn't immediately "chewed up and spit out" by the Commonwealth. I came up with an idea. Then I ran through the game, with mods, as an RP run, with that reason always foremost in my mind. And because I have a "type" my Sole Survivors always wind up with Piper. Nora ended up with her as well. Of course.
This is that story.

This story bases on hand-written notes made during playing the game which can cause some unexpected jumps and confusion. But anyone who has played Fallout 4 should be familiar with the setting and characters.
In the beginning Jared is terrified of the new world and misses his lover very much. This is the first of 4 parts and completes the first chapter of Jared's new life, ending with him leaving the old home and his old life and starting again. Each chapter consists of one day. Jared makes spelling errors and sometimes doesn't get the names of places or objects right. His writing style and personality change a little bit every time he's angry or high.
There's not much graphic sexual content except in last chapter. Everything else is tagged. If I forgot something feel free to leave a comment and let me know.
