Summary
In December 2021, Katherine Tolman, the former deputy of Hope County, was assigned as an inquisitor in Manhattan to address a hostage situation due to the Coalition's shortage of agents in the city. However, the simple task of eliminating young blankbodies has turned into a tragedy and has been forced into the Embrace by a controversial figure of the vampire societies. Now left isolated in this unholy condition, she must learn to face her vampiric nature and endure the scars from her past life. As she navigates the new political landscape of New York, a dark conspiracy related to her Embrace begins to brew behind the scenes. The local Kindred population attempts to solve a hidden ancient threat beneath their feet and in their meals.
(You don't have to be familiar with WoD/VTM to read it and vice versa. I wrote this with both fandoms in mind, so you can read it without needing to know the other. This contains a mix of V5 lore with V20 mechanics and other older materials for inspiration.)

For obvious reasons, I picked up a tiny Loki action figure from Thor a couple years before I started posting these; in January 2014, I came across a tiny Thor to keep him company. I immediately took a couple stupid pictures of them and then I just...kept doing that, with increasingly elaborate captions and situations, because I really enjoy my stupid pictures and other people have been enjoying them too. I picked up a couple more Lokis and some other MCU action figures too, and sometimes completely unrelated action figures join in (I add tags as they become relevant). The first 60ish chapters are reposts of existing pictures; now that I've got all of those up, I'm just updating when I actually post new photos. Suggestions/ideas are always welcome!

As he races down the cliffs to the beach, he feels something soft and uneven underfoot. Link pulls his skimmer away to find a mouse lying on the path, dead. He stoops to take a closer look at it. Blood has spurt from its mouth, though he’s not sure if he’s the cause honestly. It strikes him that he may have killed the small rodent, but he doesn’t think much on that.
No, that’s not the odd part of it. Of course there are field mice and rats on the island, but the rodents are never this close to shore, and they certainly keep out of the open where men are known to frequent, the skittish things that they are. The likelihood, essentially, of him running across a live and healthy mouse is slim.
When he comes to the shore, the captain is sitting in his waka ama’s main hull, staring out into the ocean. Seeing him approach, Tetra quickly wipes her eyes and nose, her cheeks a dark, rosy color. Her strange purple eyes are swollen and puffy. The shattered expression on her face is so different from her usual confident, steely air.
