“I will never yield to you,” Charles said before Max smashed his lips against his own. He let out a surprised grunt as his hands gripped the Dutchman’s hair tightly before reciprocating the kiss.
When Charles joined Ferrari, he had only one clear goal in mind. He would do everything in his power to get ahead of Max Verstappen. What he hadn’t expected was that his world would start turning upside down the closer he got to the Dutchman. Which was way closer than he ever thought he would get.

“Then choose to act differently,” Charles said softly as he rubbed his thumb over the side of Max’s knee. Max nodded slowly as he turned his head to look at the Monegasque.
“What do I need to do?” Max asked, tone of voice hopeful.Max hadn’t expected that Charles, who had once been his rival, would be able to change everything he knew about their friendship in a matter of weeks. Soon, Max found himself questioning everything he’d ever known. Not only about their bond, but also about himself.

“Oh,” Max breathes, “look at you losing control. Want to do it right here, huh?” He steps closer, daring, taunting.
Through the haze of bloodlust, Charles knows he’s clamping too tightly to Max’s arms, fingers digging in with inhuman strength. His fangs are out, too. He should leave before he loses what’s left of his mind. Instead, he tightens his grip, eyes flickering red, nails sharpening to prick holes in Max’s ugly Red Bull polo.
Despite all that, Max doesn’t flinch back or make a hurt sound. If anything, he pushes into the touch. Charles inhales greedily, intoxicated by the signature of his blood.
Max smells like temptation. Like home. Like he belongs to Charles.

The Australian sun was hot and heavy, beating down on Bez’s skin in a way he could barely tolerate. The sky was grey despite the warmth and Bez grimaced. He wasn’t sure he wanted his first race as an F1 driver to be in the rain.
Staring at the atmosphere around him, Bez had to take in more than one deep breath. It was unreal. His dream had finally come true. He was an F1 driver at long last. Thirteenth wasn’t the ideal qualifying position, but Bez knew he could fight and climb through the field, maybe even score his first points of the season.

“What,” Charles chokes out, has no idea what Max is on about, he can’t focus-
Especially when Max shuffles closer, crowding him even further against the wall. He continues, hasty and frantic, “This is safer than fighting. We don’t get hurt, no one gets in trouble. We blow off steam with each other. Makes sense, yes? Yes?”
“I-I don’t-”
Before Charles can begin to formulate a response, Max is ducking in again, kissing him again, and Charles is stunned into stillness.

Lando is having a tough time at the start of his first home race weekend. Max just wants to help, but so early on in their relationship, he is nervous that he doesn't know how to show someone the type of love and comfort he has never had.
"No! His poor boy, he is going to be devastated and humiliated. The press conference was bad enough. But this, this is bad. The kind of thing that will probably pop into Lando’s mind when he is trying to sleep for the rest of his life. Max’s chest hurts for him and he can feel his own face heating with sympathetic embarrassment."

Everyone at McLaren always said that he and Carlos were two peas in a pod. They were always together. Where one of them was, you’d most definitely find the other either attached at the hip or not that far behind them.
They were so similar, enjoyed playing video games (even if Lando was horrific at FIFA) and Carlos had been slowly converting Lando into playing golf with him. They got on like a house on fire, and it got to the point where they had met each other’s extended family.
Carlos for sure thought he knew how to read Lando’s emotions, whether he was hurting, angry, tired, happy. He had spent so much time with the rookie, he was confident he knew how Lando functioned on a day-to-day basis.
Which is why he was so taken by surprise at what he saw on his teammate’s body.
