A knight’s heart must be as strong and unswerving as the blade that he holds—these were the words Orca would tell Link whenever spotted moments of hesitancy made him lose focus and miss an opportunity to make a blow.
In a world filled with peace in the guise of monotony, it was difficult for Link to summon the kind of ferocious tenacity that seemed to characterize a knight. Yet, there was something about Orca’s reminder that sung to his spirit, made his blood tremble with resonation. A silent, instinctual sort of understanding, one of which Link would never come to understand until he was already absorbed by the machinations of fate.
