Monthly check-up of the imprisonment site revealed the place to be completely empty, the barrier - ruined, with king nowhere to be found. But there was no world concurring happening. Instead, the mist appeared chaotically around the continents, as if looking for someone. With Isolde forever gone, there was a raising suspicion of who it might be.
This time, the mist concentrated near the sea. Akshan travels to Bilgewater - a place, there most of the Harrowings start. Along side the local sentinels, he's tasked to fend off evil spirits from civilians. However, he ends up dealing with much, much bigger and sinister issue. In very unusual way.
This might be a start of the new chapter in "The Ruined King" tale. Or, a repetition of an old one.
