He stepped out for a smoke, the gray sky above contributing to the overall mood and color tone of Hawkins. Eddie took a puff as he watched the cars go by. The snow plows had cleared the streets earlier that day, leaving a lovely pileup of dirty slush over the sidewalks, not helping the already darkened and dull mood Eddie constantly found himself in. Maybe he blended in like a shadow with the dark clothes he was wearing today.
Another puff and he watched a pop of color appear from across the street. An unmistakable beautiful head of hair tucked under a red ski cap with a matching scarf as Steve Harrington turned the corner and walked down the opposite side of the street. Eddie watched with interest at the handsome king of their high school seemed deep in thought and definitely not looking where he was going. Another car sped by and splattered more of the slush onto Steve's side of the street. Eddie stifled a laugh as Steve slipped and fell in the dirty snow. He watched with amusement of the supposedly most popular guy in their school make an ass of himself, but after a few beats he realized Steve hadn't gotten up.

“Oh, I’m so sorry that me freezing to death is so bad for you,” Sharpness said, his voice dripping with scorn, though the shiver that ran through him undermined the effect.
Jude felt a weird pang of… something. Guilt? Annoyance? It was hard to tell. “Just… shut up and– and c’mere,” he grumbled, pressing a little closer. “You’re letting all the warm air out.”
OR:
A storm traps Sharpness and Jude underground, and with no way out, no backup, and nowhere to run, they’re forced to deal with everything they’ve been avoiding.

Deep in the snowy mountains, the Entity has found a new killer for its collection; a monster haunted by grief, driven by an unstoppable hunger for death and surviving on pure animalistic instincts. Only that said monster won't join the fog at the Entity's demand as expected. So a troop is sent out to catch the mountain's legend. But what if the killers send to retrieve said monster become the hunted instead? Lost in a territory they have never been in before where every step can be their last, danger might be close then they expect. After all.. not all monsters reveal their true self from the start. And perhaps none of them are as safe and alone as the snow makes them believe to be.
And is another monster for the trials really a good idea, especially one with more secrets than anyone expected?
