8 years after the death of Voldemort at the Battle of Hogwarts, Shacklebolt is dead and John Dawlish has become Minister of Magic. All was well until the Daily Prophet began a fear campaign around another dark magic uprising. Spoiler alert: - we weren’t fine. Not even close.
Nick and I had believed we could make a long-distance relationship work. We loved each other, we were positive, and we were strong. But the distance between Truham and Leeds could have been a million miles; the journey lasted hours, train tickets took all our money, and I… well, I turned into a bitch. There’s no other word for it.
I pushed and pushed until Nick did something terrible. Something that broke us apart. Something that sent me spinning back into a relationship with a man who’d already abused me as a boy. The scars from that terrible time – mental, physical – followed me over the following six years.

Maybe Selûne will finally answer her prayers and grant her her first spell, so that she may follow in her mother's footsteps as a cleric. What is supposed to be a relatively simple camping trip goes wrong, however, when the weather takes a turn for the worse.
