Summary
After the events of last summer, Terzo was grateful to return to the calm of his school year, especially as, at the end of it, Terzo will finally get to defend his thesis and complete his doctorate. The only thing left is a few final revisions and one more semester.
But issues arise when the professor he's assigned to is obsessed with the "cult" that Terzo grew up in. Under threat of his enrollment status being revoked and his thesis thrown into the void of failed academia, Terzo agrees to supervise his class on a two week study trip, just in time for Hexennacht, an important holiday for the Ministry. Between keeping an eye on the undergrad students he’s meant to be supervising, managing his professor and TA duties, and hiding the very real magic filling the Abbey to the brim, Terzo’s spring semester has gone from calm and exciting to a nightmare of stress. But with his professor's obsession only growing to a dangerous degree the more time they spend at the Abbey, Terzo once again finds his family under threat from outside sources.
And with that family keeping secrets from him, the danger is only getting closer.
