“I thought the shop would keep me company,” Yeosang continued, voice quieter now. “But it only reminds me how alone I am. No family left. No one who stays.” He gave a small, self-deprecating laugh. “Pathetic, isn’t it? A grown man admitting he’s lonely.”
Seonghwa reached across the counter and covered Yeosang’s hand with his own. The touch was cool, steady, grounding.
“It is not pathetic,” he said softly. “It is human. And you are allowed to grieve what was taken from you.”

This is a fan fiction of Vampires SMP if the original cast didn’t exist and instead a whole new group of people entered in Oakhurst. As well as it is in more of a modern setting but has lore reasons to the absence of phones and modern technology. All characters are based off people I know IRL but have been heavily characterised to make an interesting story.
