Recently having gotten themselves trapped in London as a result of accidentally entering a blood bond with the local Elder, they're both at their wits' end, to say the least.
Fortunately, in this timeline, they're already accustomed to finding comfort in each other.
This turned out much longer than I expected because I wanted to capture the implications of a previous slowburn within this oneshot, so please see the author's note if you want to skip ahead to my first clumsy attempt at the ladies enjoying each other's bodies; I do not intend to write a slow burn because it would essentially be "The Misadventures of Hawke and Savile" but with different pronouns, a few tweaked details, and more direct emphasis on potentially romantic elements that could function as oneshots.

We mainly diverge from canon events in that [spoiler] Edward does not cause the epidemic. Because it makes no damn sense.
Additionally - being a Brit who lives close to London, with friends and relatives who've lived there; I have renamed certain things from canon to be more accurate; and I have also fleshed out certain locations. You can find any changes in the author notes in each chapter - as well as any tidbits of information.
