Depuis le départ de Koko, Inupi évolue à la marge du monde, incapable de nouer de véritables liens avec les personnes qui l'entourent. Son quotidien à D&D Motors, les occasionnelles sorties avec les anciens du Toman sont une routine confortable, dans laquelle il n'a pas besoin de s'impliquer outre mesure. Mais le manque de son ancien amant lui tenaille toujours le ventre.
Lorsque Draken commence à se confier à lui sur des sentiments jamais dévoilés, Inupi lui offre bien sûr une oreille attentive. Ils sont amis après tout. Alors quand la chaudière d'Inupi tombe en panne, Draken lui propose naturellement de l'héberger quelques temps et il n'a pas vraiment d'autres choix que d'accepter. Travailler et vivre ensemble va les rapprocher... si seulement Inupi parvient à abaisser les barrières qu'il a dressé autour de lui.

Jon's a witch (which in this universe means he has magical powers but he does need to feed on other people's trauma to survive) in a land where being one is punishable by death so he's got to keep it hidden. (Realistically, witches can generally protect themselves but Jon doesn't actually want to hurt anyone so he's been starving himself from trauma which weakens him quite a bit). Martin works at a tavern and he's been crushing on the cute newcomer to town. One day after some accidental handkerchief code, he thinks Jon's into him and wants him to follow. Jon thinks he's being chased to his death.

He knew for certain Jayce and Sky were not returning until tomorrow morning. Sky left hours ago, mentioning she would be meeting with friends from the Undercity. Meanwhile, Jayce was representing Hextech at the afterparty Viktor declined to attend at the last minute, meeting foreign investors who were visiting for Progress Day.
Viktor whirled around, poised to face the intruder while armed with a flat-head screwdriver as his eyes scanned every corner of the lab in search of an unwelcome visitor.
