Quickly, the reader realizes that she is holding onto a lot of unprocessed grief around her disability. They spend the night out together, until she has to go home when she accepts that it was too much for her. Hoshi comforts her and assures that being disabled doesn't take away from who she is, and that she is allowed to have her negative feeling without needing to feel guilty.
The title is a reference to Fallen Superstar by HOSHI.
