The world has forgotten Peter Parker.

In an alternate universe, a fifteen y/o Gwen Stacy (Spider-Girl), is the protege of the genius Tony Stark (whose fame had only increased manifold post the Battle of Earth). Although Tony being Tony tries to appear as nonchalant as he possibly can, the effects of the Blip (where he'd lost his mentee for almost five whole years) and the final battle combined had left him highly vigilant and with profound anxiety issues. So he tries to make sure that he can at least maintain a protective armor around HIS world-- including his chosen family, people he cares about more than himself. Although due to this he appears a little too annoyingly overprotective at times, Gwen understands what he's going through and tries not to agitate him (as much as she can manage). But being a parental figure to a teenage superhero is also a process of letting go, of trusting them to stand on their own and giving space to make mistakes--a lesson that's hard for Tony to learn, but not without it's share of heartfelt and bittersweet moments between both.

For a moment, Astarion only saw red.
For a moment, Astarion heard nothing but the roaring, rushing sounds in his adept ears - that of the rolling sea, and Tav's blood catapulting through her arteries with her own anger.
Astarion's eyes focused and traced her form and up her extended arm, his lip twitching with the beginning of a snarl at the action that had been denied him, but the scent of Gale's blood hit his nose then. The odor was strong despite the pervading smell of salt in the surf that lapped along the shore at their feet.
