Wait, the rings. Crap, the rings! Where’d he put the rings? All he had to do was find the rings, and then everything would go off without a hitch. Absolutely nothing could go wrong with him trying to find the rings, right? This wedding was going to be perfect.

She remembered the way Gamora smiled at him when she thought no one was looking; how she sang along with him to his strange Earth music; how she leaned so easily into his embrace when he put an arm around her. Nebula had always judged her for that. How had Gamora allowed her walls to be broken down by someone as foolish and impulsive as him? It made no sense.
Now, years after her sister's death, she finally understood why she fell for him. And it pissed her off.
