Summer after high school graduation. Peter is nineteen. Peter gets a summer job taking photos for the Daily Bugle, where he meets and befriends three coworkers: Betty Brant, Eddie Brock, and Leo Havin (OC).
This summer, Harry comes back from Europe to tend for his dying dad. Unbeknownst to Harry and Peter, Norman has pulled some strings and broken an ex-convict out of prison: Mac Gargan. Gargan was an assassin for Wilson Fisk, taking out some of New York’s (and the world’s) highest crime lords—no matter what bystanders got in his way. Norman, however, is hiring Gargan for something else… something that could save his life. And he’ll do anything to get it.
Along the way, Peter is struggling to accept himself; as both Spider-Man, and Peter Parker. Through friendship and some unexpected feelings, Peter goes on a journey of self-discovery whilst tackling one of his toughest villains yet.

Tony’s plate is overfull, he wants to help Harley with his problem but is pulled away for Avengers meetings more often than not.
Unfortunately, Harley ends up finding himself in the middle of everything, and Spider-man inadvertently being his knight and shining armour, is always right at there with him. It doesn't make things easier that Harley is pretty sure Spidey is flirting with him, of all things.

As her life slowly slipped away, she could faintly see the bright city lights from the corner of her blurry gaze. She could feel her heart painfully suffocating itself as it fought to pump what little blood it could with her last labored breaths.
"-GWEN!" Harry’s blood curling scream painfully tugged at her heart as she mourned a life they never got to live.
As she felt the drop approached, she wondered if 52 seconds made any difference.
