Steve looked up to see a soft man with hair that reminded him of Bucky’s, but blond and better kept. He was wearing a suit with the air of someone who wears suits because it is part of their job, not because they particularly want to.
His tie had dinosaurs on it.
He held out a hand for Steve to shake: “Foggy Nelson.”
“Steve Rogers.”
“What can I do you for, Mr. Rogers? Before Karen accidentally poisons you with her atrocious coffee.”
The woman in question threw a little rubber duck at him. It bounced off his shoulder. Nelson ignored it, so Steve decided it was probably a common occurrence. In all honesty, Steve thought he probably deserved it, but he hadn't tried the coffee yet.
“I’m not actually here for myself," he said. "My friend, James Barnes. Spider-Man said you guys could help.”
From what he'd seen so far, he wasn't convinced.
In which Nelson and Murdock are set to defend Bucky Barnes for the Winter Soldier's crimes, and nothing ever goes smoothly.

I’ve gone rogue and am thoroughly AU even from my own canon except for the fact that Matt is still Deafblind (which is the one thing that seems to be holding my verse together). I started out this thinking it was a prequel to Idle Hands, but that changed pretty quickly.
Yes, Matt and Foggy will eventually end up together romantically. All in due time. I'll change the rating to mature eventually. Right now, the main theme centers around the father-son dynamic. There will have to be a POV switch away from Jack at some point.

A sequel to Stow Away. A story centered around the real implications of what it means to be part spider. Primarily an Ultimate Spider-Man fic, it is also heavily influenced by the MCU and will contain elements from the Homecoming trilogy.

Long story short, you are a young superhero that quit due to mental pressure and you left your whole family to live like normal citizens. Danny rand aka the original iron fist was your father and he co-parented you with the help of Daredevil (no they are not married together they just raised you as they would work together in The Defenders)
You also have genetic diabetes and it’s linked to your powers. You were one of child’s of the sun from skylands but a group of cultists summoned you to earth to worship you. You were then saved by the group of The Defenders and later raised by Danny Rand aka the original iron fist with the help of Matt Murdock aka Daredevil.
And if you wanted more details about your power, basically beceause you are one of the child’s of the sun in your blood runs some sort of extraordinary substance that absorbs the light in a special way that you get light manipulation powers. But due to the extreme use of insulin in this process, your body genetically needs extra insulin and you run out of it fast.
The rest of the story is the path to a slow burn romance with Lin Lie aka the new iron fist.
I might decide to kill a family member for the sake of emotional weight. -
