And what if that scheme involved more old ghosts then any of them realize? Ladies and gentlemen, I ask you the question: What If?
Warning upfront, this is heavily inspired by writing in the 60s, which did not like Russia or Communism, so please try to focus on the angst.

Summary
Following the Darkseid War, the world tries to go back to normal, and Spider-Man swings back into his regular routine. Well, almost regular. He's facing a new, wider world, and the impacts of the Darkseid War have left the planet irrevocably changed.
This is a continuation of "Spider-Man: A World Apart," a What-If story telling the entire tale of Spider-Man if he had been born and raised in the DC Universe. This story sees Peter through his university years and beyond, his next few years as Spider-Man.
Current Arc: Murderworld (Chapters 19 - ?) - Spider-Man, Venom, Black Cat, Batman, Catwoman, the Dogpound, Wild Dog and Catman have all been transported by Toyman to the villain's Murderworld, an island where these heroes and villains, along with many others who have been taken in recent weeks, must battle to the death in order to survive. Can Toyman's game be beaten, or will only one survivor step from the rubble when everything falls apart. (AKA Cats & Dogs Part II)

Amazing Spider-Man is about to reach 1,000 issues! But it wasn't a smooth road to get there. Plus, there's been closer to 2,000 issues already if you count Spectacular Spider-Man, Web of Spider-Man, etc.
My thinking was: what if the road WAS smooth? And what if there were literally only 1,000 issues, and 1 series? This dumb little fic will retell the essential Spider-Man stories over the course of 1,000 chapters. Will it be good, or just nonsensical slop? We'll just have to wait and see!
Feel free to read whatever chapter you wish depending on what story you like, you don't have to read in order. Of course, it'd help, but it's not required. I may not even publish chapters in order, perhaps I'll just write whatever stories I'd want to

In other words: A little more than just a field trip fic, and one where Mr. Harrington is actually supportive and a special teacher to Peter. Peter has people that love him, he just needs to learn how to ask for help.
