'Is this how Peter had felt?' he thought.
And as if to taunt him, he saw it all over again. Peter falling to the ground as he tried to make his way over, sobbing as he tried to push himself forward with legs he'd now lost.
"Mister Stark..." he managed to gasp, before finally falling apart completely.
One by one, every friend and ally he'd made crumbled to that same dust that had haunted him for 5 years, until he was the only one left. And with that, Thanos approached him, his gauntlet resting casually on his hand, as if it hadn't just ended his universe.
"Stark," he started, in that righteous tone, like he always knew best, "I am... inevitable."
Or Thanos wins and snaps everyone, but instead of them dying, they are transported to a different universe and must find eachother again.

Matt Murdock just wanted to take a vacation in London with his good friend Foggy Nelson when he stumbles over a person he hasn't seen in 22 years. Him and Marc Spector used to be childhood friends for a brief but special year while they lived in Chicago. So when that same old friend suddenly begs him for help as they cross paths on a police station, there's no way he can say no. Both are shocked what became of the other - one blind and one suffering from obvious mental illness.
