Quite frankly, he'd have been happy spending his three years in U.A.'s Support Course hunched over his work bench drowning in blueprints, caffeine, and whatever gas Mei had accidentally flooded the workshop with this time.
But no, apparently the support students needed to be more 'well rounded' and 'integrate with their fellow classmates'.
Cue Power Loader drafting Class-2H into mandatory training and 'team building' exercises in preparation for the upcoming Sports Festival.
Because that was the obvious solution. Public humiliation and an absolute overhaul of Izuku's carefully curated schedule of avoidance and overwork.

Andres Hender loved video games and drinking energy drinks. He hid in his room and rotted in bed. Total loser right? Well Andres and two of his friends, Lila and Branden soon aren't allowed outside anymore. Why? Cause the air has radiation in it. It seems everyday more radiation and less human interaction happens. Of course the reason is cause a mass political disagreement caused a world wide bombing that the government is trying to cover up.
All people over 18 are called to leave their homes to go to a meeting with the new radiation control group. But after a year of no return and bed rotting, on Andres and his friends part, they decide to venture out, finding a rubble wasteland. The air smells sour, not only that, but they seem to be that last humans on earth. Funny, right?- Language:

A century later the world has managed to stabilize itself. However, inequalities became even more rampant. Average civilians and mediocre Saints were left in the dust with no way to make their voices heard.
And retired C-rank Fighter, Benjamin Hosmer, laughed.
He was fifty-four, limping, and far past his prime but this reality pleased him. Finally, a good opportunity to get some fame and power back without kneeling to those dogs of the government.
