At least a thousand years after the fall of the Jedi and the death of the Chosen One, the galaxy has learned to fear what it no longer understands.
Force sensitivity - now stripped of myth and meaning - is treated as a dangerous anomaly. Those who display it are quietly removed, exiled to a distant world called Kharos, and erased from public memory. Peace, the Federation insists, requires containment.
Arin Valen grows up in the margins of this system: a gifted tinkerer, a controlled risk-taker, a boy who feels too much and learns early how to hold himself together.
