It's there, and it spreads through the rest of his body as he feels the dread pile up and block his airways. He can't breathe. So his body did what it did best, even if his mind decided something else, he panicked.

Meanwhile, Matilda Trent is at the top of Australian motorsport after making history at Bathurst and duking it out for the title of V8 Supercars champion. However, Matilda's past in F3 has her itching for a call to F1, which she thinks will never come.
Both will be united under one roof on an expanded starting grid, with new rules and regulations that level the playing field for the top teams, setting the stage for a title fight for the ages. Though the two's history suggests they will do a little more than drive the cars.

Lando is falling head over heels and hard for his new teammate in F1 and needs a whole lot of time to grasp that aka obliviousness. Their shared high stress work environment is not always helpful. Their shared friends at least try to be helpful. Chaos, a lot of "Thats normal though, right?" moments and literally any other person on the grid realizing their feelings before them ensues. Also, a loooooot of touching and cuddling because, honestly, why not ?
