Ilya knew this point would come in their dynamic/relationship. Shane was a Little, everyone knew that, but he often regressed pretty young. Shane's usual headspace ranged from 10 months to 1.5 years old. On the days where he was falling in and out of headspace, he would usually be a bit older, usually toddler age so around 2-5 years old. Ilya had no problem caring for Shane, Big or Little, and he can confidently say he has learned more and expanded his knowledge about Littles since his first time taking care of Little Shane. Shane showed a lot of similar traits actual babies showed, minus the bathroom habits and crawling and those tiny details, but when he was in his youngest headspace (10 months) he often had trouble expressing what he wanted or needed.
