Castiel, Archangel of Jack, fought to contain his nervous gnawing to the inside of his grace-formed mouth as the young God’s brow furrowed and he asked, “You married a djinn? When did you marry a djinn, Cas?”
A canon compliant exploration of how Castiel honors his promises to various characters (especially the djinn queen he's married to) once Jack raises him from the Empty and before Dean goes to Heaven. Reading the chapter 'Various & Sundry Ingredients' of my big fic 'Through the Eyes of a Part-time Angel' will give you extra context, but this can totally be read as a stand-alone fic.
