Summary
It was supposed to be The End. With the burning of the Book of Life and God eradicating the entire universe, the story had been told, the last page turned.
Except there is no one who knows books, appreciates and understands them, like Aziraphale, the angel who has spent millennia reading, collecting and protecting them. Unhappy with the way things are ending, he takes a desperate chance and attempts to write a new one for Crowley and himself, his final miracle, not knowing if it will work.
It may, but if, and only if, Aziraphale can find Crowley in time. And if Crowley can forgive him for it once he does.
Then maybe, just maybe, the two of them will get the opportunity to build a new life together and write a happy ending of their own.

~Die Inspiration zu dieser Captain Rex Weihnachts/Liebesgeschichte hat wirklich stattgefunden, am 24. Dezember 1914. Nach historischen Überlieferungen, traf dieses Ereignis an der Westfront im 1.Weltkrieg zu, wo deutsche und britische Soldaten für einige Stunden einen Waffenstillstand einlegten und aus ihren Schützengräben heraus kamen, um mit dem Feind Weihnachten zu feiern. Diese Überlieferung hat mich dazu bewegt, diese Kurzgeschichte zu schreiben. Ich habe die Erde als Schauplatz ins Clone Wars Universum eingefügt. Viel Spaß beim lesen. Möge diese Geschichte eure Seelen verzaubern und eure Herzen berühren.~
