Within a restored Lumière and beyond, everyone who was part of Expedition 33's journey tries to figure out what kind of future they can imagine for themselves now that the conflict that had once dominated their existences is over, even though that doesn't mean all conflict is gone. That ends up coming with its own set of twists and turns though, with relationships growing and developing in unexpected ways as the days go by.
A good ending fic where happiness doesn't come easy, and people have to learn to finally speak their full truth if they want any real hope of healing.

Let us all not lie to ourselves here. Jaden, in Season 4, even with all its clear reasons and in-universe explainations, was an A-Hole. And again, while it was understandable, considering everything that took place in Yubel's dimension, the fact that neither party ever tried to approach each other, sit down, and just, you know... TALK ABOUT IT. That is just sad. And no amount of "oh, another threat was on the horizon, Jaden had more important things to worry about" babble, is going to convince me otherwise, because, these are all Jaden's classmates. He has history with them. He suffered with them. He succeeded with them. He did so much good for everyone. And they all genuinely grew from his selflessness.
He saved them all. Time and again. Not just in dueling. He changed their lives for the better. And now, with this in mind, I feel like Season 4 should have been THE season, in which all of Jaden's heroic deeds with his friends, get paid back to him, with humility, respect, and most importantly... Open arms. They all still love him, and this is what I am going to show off, right now. A bumpy road, back to becoming a unified front again.
