Frank has to gather himself enough to focus, and say, “I was thinking about something your sister said to me last week.”
“What was that?” she says, the long stem of the white wine in her hand.
“You talked about me all the time,” he says, and then with the undertone of something less sure, he continues on, “We only worked the one shift together. Was I that terrible?”

“There are a few boxes of El’s old clothes, back at the Cabin,” Will says. “My mom and Hop should both be at work by now. I think – I think most of her stuff would probably fit me…”
Mike goes quiet, mulling it over. Will braces himself, certain that at any moment now Mike is going to explode on him for even suggesting that he borrow El’s things. But El’s style was far more relaxed than Nancy’s and it seems like an obvious solution to the current problem. Will needs girl clothes, and there happens to be a bunch in his own home that aren't being used.
“Okay,” Mike says calmly. His eyes are fixated on the floor, refusing to meet Will’s.
“Yeah?” He needs to make sure. Mike looks up at him then, and his eyes are glossy but certain.
“Yeah,” he confirms.
In which a summer bucket list and Will Byers waking up as a girl version of himself finally causes Mike Wheeler to realize his feelings for his best friend. Set post-S5 finale. Summer after graduation.

Battle is convinced that Warren is in danger. Battle needs to break out and protect his son from Steve's muscle-bound spawn.
