In the box that was opened he could see all kinds of shiny and sparkly decorations, but as always in the left upper corner there it stood. Golden ring with shining ruby on it. It matched Derek so badly and everytime he saw the ring, or even thought of it he thought of Derek too.
He found himself holding the ring while looking more carefully than before. He could see the little details and patterns etched on its golden ring while ruby was held steady with precious golden details.
The more he looked at it the more he craved to just give it to Derek and see him wear it on his hand.
