A simple prayer for something exciting to happen, and soon, before he died of boredom out in this country town where he knew next to nobody, and next to nobody wanted to know him.
It could’ve been anything, he wouldn’t have complained if it was something small like a celebrity passing through or a pop-up food stand he’d recognize from the city…
