Summary

Wings of Fire: Heart of Jade Mountain is an epic coming-of-age saga centered around Buck, a young human boy suffering from trauma relating to the loss of his parents during a dragon attack on his hometown. Harboring a deep hatred of dragons, he is nonetheless forced to enter a wider world of interspecies interaction when he is enrolled against his will into Jade Mountain Academy's first human class of students.
However, unbeknownst to Buck, forces on both the dragon and human side are building, and Buck may very well become the central figure in the battle for the future of Pyrrhia. A savage dragon terrorist, a mysterious being from the Third Moon, and an enigmatic lodgekeeper are some of Buck's encounters on his journey, which will test Buck's bravery and perhaps allow him to move on from his past and embrace a bright new world of human-dragon peace.
As Heart of Jade Mountain is loosely based on the canon Wings of Fire series and is meant to serve as a continuation of it, spoilers for the series will be present, including Legends: Dragonslayer and the latest book as of the time of writing, The Flames of Hope.

She was like his little sister, a better one then his actual sister. But other then that, Winter had cut everyone from his past out of his life... at least he tried too. He kept on getting letters from a very annoying but handsome Sandwing and from a old mindreader friend Nightwing. Qibli and Moon had gotten together, mated, married.. whatever you call it. From that point he knew he had to start fresh. That was six years ago and he hoped to never see those two again, to protect them and himself. But those plans were foiled when a suspicious looking hybrid crashed into his life out of nowhere.

Summary
Dreams, memories, nightmares… what's the difference?
Logically, Peacemaker should be more excited than he's ever been in his entire life. He's attending Jade Mountain Academy, the school of his dreams, where he'll meet dragons from other tribes, learn way more than he ever could in the NightWing village, and maybe even get to show off his culinary skills. But instead of excitement, the hybrid dragonet just can't shake his nerves.
And maybe Peacemaker's nerves weren't wrong; arriving at Jade Mountain heralds terrifying new dreams, and all he can see in them is blood. One of his clawmates is harboring a deep distrust of him and another only speaks in riddles and poems, he keeps overhearing the school staff talking about him when he's not around, and worst of all, there are rumors of a ghost haunting Jade Mountain and killing off its students.
So when the world is threatened (again) by nightmares given life and a danger from the depths of Pyrrhia itself, Peacemaker has to fight to protect his new home… but how are you supposed to fight yourself?
