Logan Berry had moved to New York City with the goal of escaping his small town in Florida and finally being able to engage in all the intellectual discussions and research he had been severely lacking in a town of 500 people. He was going to get a physics degree from NYU, get a nice lab position, become a PhD student, and then go on to change the world in ways the stifling environment he grew up in would never have allowed for. He had no time to sit in a theater for hours and watch people lie to the audience about being different people, or spend time in art museums.
Only, after his roommate introduces him to his brother, his plans begin to change. Though, you much prefer it now rather than the suffocating urban city you’d been in before — you wouldn’t exactly want to be back wherein all these problems started. Nonetheless, there wasn’t much consolation your mind thought but a blade and skin. And ever since then, it has been the only form of consolation alongside your damned mentality. Keeping up with all of this, it was all too much but you rather keep it to yourself than to throw it all up on someone. The idea of someone knowing was too sickening.
Although, time passes by as you meet someone — you don’t expect anything as every person you’ve met whilst moving hasn’t done much within you, but this one fucked that all up.
