After long weeks of being chained up in this small room, Fluffy was starting to feel lonely. His dearest friend, Hagrid never visited him anymore. The man who smelled like herbs only visited him to feed him. He had nobody to play with. He could only spend his days dozing off. Even his favourite chew toy was no longer of any interest.
That was until a fateful day, when the door was opened by a puny human who smelled like leather and sweets. Surprisingly, the boy didn’t scream. Instead, he grinned and approached him. Fluffy cocked his three heads at the boy, wondering why this human was not scared of him. Even the man was wary of him. The only other human who wasn’t afraid of Fluffy was Hagrid.
The boy, unable to reach Fluffy’s head, due to the dog’s gigantic nature, petted his stomach instead. Fluffy’s tail started wagging uncontrollably and he rolled onto his back as the boy cooed at him. The boy didn’t even complain when Fluffy licked his face or hands. Instead, he just giggled and played with him.
Fluffy rather loved his new friend. He would do anything for the little human.
