Summary
June 2013. Graduation leaves Shay Harlow aimless, friendless, and a few cities away after opting to get right to the work force. He's always been the joke-cracking fat friend, looming, awkward, standing out in crowds. He'd had a girlfriend before, some crushes, but nothing ever stuck. He always felt like he was disappointing, not interested enough, not the kind of person someone wanted to take to dinner. It doesn't help that he's ninety percent sure that he's autistic.
What Shay is unaware of is that under all of that insecurity, the accusations of low libido or romantic disinterest, he's just on the Ace spectrum, uninterested in sex the same way that porn and experiences tell him it should be.
Shay is in for a decade of self-loathing, experimentation, new dynamics, labels, sexualities, and exploration that he's under-prepared and improperly socialized for.
On a search to feel important, appreciated, loved, and fulfilled, Shay's eager to make mistakes until something catches.

So... I died. Again.
I mean, at this point, I'm pretty sure Lady Death has it out for me personally. First time? Normal kid, normal death, nothing exciting. Second time? Wizard fighting Death Eaters, got hit with Voldemort's killing curse, very dramatic, 10/10 would not recommend.
Third time's the charm, Am I right?
Except now I'm a sixteen-year-old New Yorker living in the MCU—the motherfucking Marvel Cinematic Universe. Yeah. That MCU. The one where aliens invade, robots try to exterminate humanity, and a purple space tyrant eventually snaps half of all life out of existence.
No pressure or anything.
I just have to:
- Craft a functional wand (kind of a must-have for every wizard, and Amazon is surprisingly unhelpful)
- Definitely stay off Hydra's radar
- Maybe prevent the apocalypse? If I have time?It's gonna be a wild ride.
I don't own Marvel or Harry Potter, I'm not rich enough for Disney or Warner Bros. to come after me, so please don't sue.
