Summary
Aziraphale has wiped Crowley's mind. Well, they've altered it, at least. He now thinks he's human, living above an unknown bookshop with a ditsy owner called Muriel who he's not sure knows she's supposed to be in charge. It's only until Crowley's able to process his messy emotions without the actual memory over the whole Aziraphale leaving to become the Supreme Archangel. Once he's calmed down the way humans do, resolves his anger and sadness properly, then it will be restored and the two of them can talk about everything again.
Until then..., Aziraphale is still allowed to check in while figuring out how to stop the Second Coming on earth, right?

Regect glanced at the bottles on the table, one or two of them being unopened. He snatched one of them and read its contents. His eyes widened. Doing some mental math, he felt his heart stopped when he concluded his calculations after a split second.
He whipped his head towards Maturin, furious. "Taking care of him my ass— two and a half bottles!?" He showed Maturin the side of the bottle that was filled with its contents. "This is like— 750 ml, all of them are! And that shit contains like 10 units of alcohol— and 12 freaking units is already lethal dude! You nearly let him get alcohol poisoning!"
"You can get poisoned by alcohol!?" Maturin yelled back in confusion.

Cecil didn’t consider himself an above-average host–he was ill-prepared for the company–but still Nolan never once complained; not even after days of sleeping on a stiff pull-out couch that his feet would dangle off the edge of, or when Cecil would get so annoyed from his incessant questioning of everything during their nightly TV ritual that he would shut down completely and slink off to bed soon after without so much of a grumble.

Cecil is tasked with 'surveillance' of Nolan after he lands on Earth. That surveillance turns out being Nolan--with no identity or resources--crashing on Cecil's couch, learning about humanity through cable TV. Cecil tries to teach him how to cook and--with a little help from Cecil's selective attention and the freezer-life of beef--instead teaches him about the biology, fragility, and blind tenacity of humans and their nature... or at least one human's nature.

Until then, she was happy going over the accounts, crunching the numbers and informing her father if they just didn’t add up.

The older woman fished a gold case from her purse, opening it before she extended the case towards her. A cigarette was freed, a matching lighter being held by a gloved hand. The hand suspended in the air as if waiting.
Nyx slotted the filter between her lips and leaned forward in anticipation of the lighter. The lighter moved further out of reach as Alcina sucked her teeth. “Let the flame come to you. A woman does not show desperation in such activities.”

I did heavily modify the climax from its original version, as I felt that the original overextended that portion to the breaking point.
