Summary
Looking up, the lovers saw that the song worked. The wind stopped raging, now a light breeze. The dark clouds were chased away by the bright, shining sun. The grey sky replaced with light blue. The fields that had turned brown over the years were now lush and green. Crops grew and flowers bloomed once again. Townsfolk looked outside windows, bewildered by the strange, yet welcome occurrence. The three voices that followed Eurydice were silent, they had been since she first saw Orpheus again.
“You did it, darling! You did it!” She cheered, letting him spin her around again.
She wrapped her arms and legs tighter around him, his arms holding her by her thighs. He gazed at her like she hung the stars herself, and she looked at him like he made flowers grow, which he did. She was so proud of him. “I did it, Eury!” He leaned in to kiss her, for a bit longer this time. They found shelter under a tree, lost in their love for each other. When their string of long kisses ended, he sung a small flower into existence. He fashioned it into a ring and slid it onto her finger, with a tender kiss to her hand. “And you helped me, lover.”

Summary
“Will ya ride with me?” She asked, and when she looked up at him with those big teary eyes, she looked just like Orpheus used to, and still sometimes did when he was upset, or when he really wanted something. Hermes couldn’t say no.
Eurydice entered the train. Hermes sat down before her, and she decided to lie down, her head resting in his lap. “It hurts, Hermes.” She whined. Hermes gently stroked her hair, like he used to do with Orpheus to calm him down from panic attacks, and nightmares.
“I know, Eury, I know.” Hermes muttered over and over as she complained. Soon she was asleep, and the pain went away. When she got off the train she hugged Hermes one more time. He kissed the top of her head and promised to visit her soon.

Summary
Eurydice was used to fights. She had lived most of her life getting in them for food, for shelter—for survival. She was used to the blood, the bruises, the pain. She had lived a life full of agony, coupled with the harsh winds, blistering heat; and the taunting voices that followed her wherever she went.
“Orpheus.” Her breath got caught in her throat as she met his eyes. His beautiful hazel eyes that she would stare into every night before they slept. The same ones she would kiss over when he closed them. They slowly scanned her frame, landing on the blood on her side, and back up to her beaten face. Would he still think she is beautiful in this state?
She wrapped her arms around his neck, he helped her wrap her legs around his waist. He pressed a kiss to her temple as he carried her to the bedroom. He whispered her name against her skin, “Eurydice.”
