After USJ, Tomura Shigaraki wanted an army of chaos, not coupons and chore charts. The League of Villains is broke, bored, and stuck in a bar that smells like smoke and bad decisions. There are interventions (for Dabi’s lungs), disastrous grocery runs, and exactly one terrible choice to bring home a soggy cardboard-box dog.
Then a botched takeout order puts heroes on their doorstep and the hideout goes up in metaphorical flames. One emergency warp, one humiliating stint over a laundromat, and several arguments later, the League ends up in the basement of a crumbling suburban mansion with a yard, a dog, and a “very normal” elderly landlord who absolutely isn’t a retired demon king in a cardigan.
They’re still villains. They still steal, scheme, and occasionally set things on fire. But between nicotine gum, budget spreadsheets, basement decorating, and a mutt named Hotdog, this starts to look less like a temporary base and more like something else Tomura refuses to say out loud: home.
