He found Shane in his home gym, because of fucking course he did, stretching, because of course he was. Ilya leaned against the doorjam, appreciating the view. His man was flexible, a great source of pride to Ilya who frequently bent said man in half.
Shane must have just finished his yoga routine, he was doing his cool down stretches, meaning he had been up for over an hour now, because he was insane! Ilya watched Shane's shoulder muscles tense, his thighs flex, watched as he folded himself in half on the floor of his gym, face pressed into his knees, hands wrapped around the arc of both feet, which he was flexing and pointing on counts of eight. Ilya watched. He knew this routine, Shane had walked him through it at the cottage, though then it had been a special sort of torture. Suffering, trying to match Shane stretch for stretch, instead of appreciating this view.
Now, Ilya had a front row seat, or a back row seat more like, and he was determined not to interrupt. So he waited.

Blitzø was out of options. Given the choice of fight or flight, he was always wobbling precariously on the fence and knew the fall on the wrong side was inevitable. So how was he to know that tumbling off said fence and over a certain Goetic balcony would be both the best and most heartbreaking of his life. After all, he had no-one left to disappoint but himself…right?
Commitment issues and self-loathing notwithstanding, this is a story of finding your soulmate in impossible places, getting bitch-slapped with the consequences, and being drawn into each other's orbit anyway.
This fic was inspired by Terminal Curiosity by favspacetwink and moonlumie, and The Mating Habits of Imps by AjWriter, and was borne of my impatience for S3 of the show to release. Please enjoy!
