Summary
AU - Canon Divergence
Shane Hollander knows he's gay. What he can't figure out is how to make his coach respect him enough to let him shape Montreal into the winning team he knows it's meant to be.
Ilya Rozanov suffers an injury before the draft resulting in him getting drafted to the Toronto Guardians. Ilya resents Shane Hollander for benefiting from his injury. To add insult to it - Hollander starts offering him advice. Even worse, it's good advice. Rozanov returns the favor and an unlikely if slightly hostile friendship forms.
Three seasons in something changes. Rozanov's career takes a dive while Hollander seems to be on the rise. They both fall short of the cup and Shane makes a decision. He won't finish another season empty-handed, and Rozanov is going to help him get what he wants.

Summary
Shane and Ilya are watching the four Pike children while Hayden and Jackie are gone on a 10-day Italian vacation. On the second day, Ruby Pike gets her period, and the boys need to figure out what to do next.
The only thing you need to know is Hayden is a Centaur in this, but that's pretty minor. Also, while many of the things that happen may seem fantastical, I can tell you from experience or from friends' stories who are middle school teachers that many of these are very real. Also, I really hate the term "she's a woman now" for when a girl gets her period, but it kind of makes sense in this story, so just humor me!
And, as always, none of this would have been possible without the incomparable Olitz4ever, who makes everything sound so much better!

He shouldn’t be having the reaction he was, it shouldn’t make him think of his mother, of his old house that wasn’t quite a home, of stuffy living areas filled with glass ornaments and porcelain figures, a museum of things he wasn’t allowed to touch. A museum that disappeared the day after his Mama died.

In Pack Hockey, alphas and omegas play side-by-side on the ice. No blockers, no suppressants. Pack bonds are carefully maintained and nourished by teams in order to play the best hockey. The best packs have strong alphas, fast omegas, and betas that are unaffected by the storm of pheromones on the ice. They need a balanced team that blends together well - Boston and Montreal have managed to do that.
...so, what happens when two omegas from rival teams end up falling in love and throw off the pack's balance?

Summary
“I need you to know that this was never about you,” he tells them, voice steady, back straight. He’s forgotten how to be small around them. “Me leaving, the not calling, all of it? It was about me, and it was about the kids. And I know that I hurt you, but—”
But.
He’s forgotten how to apologize for hurting someone. For so many years now it’s been his job.
His father looks at him, looks him up and down and sees whatever was not there the last time they stood in front of the other like this – likely sees the exhaustion and the fear and the walls he builds higher each day to ensure they survive to see the next – and he places a hand against his wife’s arm to stop whatever words are set to emerge. “Shane,” he lowers his voice, talks to Shane the way he used to talk to the kids in those early days when he first got them – like he’s talking him out of a nightmare. “What happened when the Pikes died?”

Please you have to take her back, I can't sleep with her creepy humanlike eyes staring at me.

She looks like one of the puppets from The Labyrinth. I had night terrors about that movie as a kid.
Harris:
Who is this? Why do you have Anya?
Unknown Number:
Seriously name your price, lie to Ilya and tell him you found her old family and take her away please🙏
Harris:
I don't know who you are but I'm calling Rozanov and maybe the police. This is creepy. Who are you???
Unknown Number:
This is Jane. Ilya's partner. Please. I'm desperate. I wouldn’t have reached out otherwise.

“So, it turns out that when you have an Amex Black Card you can get just about anything done and done quickly. As soon as I saw your text after the game I called an air charter company and went straight from the arena to the airport. While I was heading to the airport I called the hotel, reserved the presidential suite and arranged for,“ Shane made an expansive gesture encompassing the room as a whole, “this.”
Shane had long ago come to terms with having the kind of money that made obstacles to what he wanted disappear. It helped that the vast majority of what he wanted in life was to either play hockey or fuck Ilya Rozanov. The former other people paid for. The latter, while often annoying, was, for the most part, free.
OR
Shane Hollander doesn't wait for Ilya Rosanov to get back to Ottawa. He flies down to Tampa to put a ring on it.

Summary
"Shane was waddling across the pond in a McGill University hockey sweatshirt with the sleeves rolled up multiple times since he hadn’t grown into it yet. His waddle turned into a glide, and the pond turned into the Ottawa arena where he took a sharp shot on a wide open net. He turned around expecting David to be right behind him, exactly where he had stood before giving him a push, but David wasn’t there. No one was."
Shane and Ilya are just starting their summer break, enjoying time at the cottage, but when David Hollander offers to step in as a substitute coach at hockey camp, they start thinking about the future of their own family.

Summary
Three figure skaters, two hockey players, one assistant coach, one registered nurse and one NBC correspondent are meant to be at the Olympic village. They are basically at work after all. Add in countless parental figures and siblings and the 2038 Winter Olympics become a family reunion for the extended Hollander-Pike-Smith family.
Over the course of a week, medals will be won, secrets will be spilled and joy will be found.
This is a sequel featuring the characters in "Amber Pike Has Three Dads" probably should read that first.
I really just like writing happy comfy family fics and I am throwing queer joy around like glitter. Enjoy!

“How were you able to stay focused tonight after learning of your father's passing?”

It was much too early to be woken up, Shane thought as he frowned bitterly at his husband. For some god-forsaken reason, Ilya had decided that shaking him desperately by the shoulders at- he checked the clock on the nightstand- four in the morning, was a great idea.
“I’m not going to fuck you, Hollander. This is important.”
Without another word, Ilya handed him his phone.

Summary
He could do this. Hayden and Jackie managed to raise four kids decently well, and if Montreal’s fifteenth best player could be successful, so could he, even if his situation had been ramped up to max difficulty.
Hundred of millions of people did this everyday. Most of those people managed to raise fairly normal kids, and, sure, his situation was sort of unique, but it wasn't one of a kind. There were books and forums and experts he could consult. And, of course, his Shane would help him along the way. Ilya could make it work.
It couldn't be that hard. Right?
OR
Alexei and his wife die in a drug-induced car crash, leaving Ilya's niece in his custody. Now he has to navigate a secret relationship with his arch rival, build the Ottawa Centaurs up from the worst team in the league to at least the top fifteen, grapple with his strained relationship with his brother and his guilt surrounding it, and raise a grieving child who doesn't understand why her parents had to die. Yes, it is, in fact, that hard.
