Nyx Alandros had never seen a kilo of cocaine. She’d not felt the iron grip a hunk of white powder had over Miami. Her and her virgin nose were happy with knowing nothing about it. Alcina fucking Dimitrescu ruined that.
One could describe Nyx’s life as pedestrian. A 26-year-old woman with aspirations of becoming the proud owner of Alandros Business Accounting once her father, Paul, passed it down. Until then, she was happy going over the accounts, crunching the numbers and informing her father if they just didn’t add up.

Alcina crossed her legs at the knee, her black high heel almost touching Nyx’s thigh. She took the cigarette from the ashtray, flicking away the excess ash that had accumulated. “Would you like one?”“Yes, please.”
The older woman fished a gold case from her purse, opening it before she extended the case towards her. A cigarette was freed, a matching lighter being held by a gloved hand. The hand suspended in the air as if waiting.
Nyx slotted the filter between her lips and leaned forward in anticipation of the lighter. The lighter moved further out of reach as Alcina sucked her teeth. “Let the flame come to you. A woman does not show desperation in such activities.”

Follows the story of 6 unlikely allies who find themselves thrown together by fate in the cruel and harsh Sixth-World of Shadowrun. These are the narrative adventures of my TTRP group, in our campaign. A new chapter is written most weeks. Because this gets published to my players, it's written from an in-game perspective, with imperfect knowledge - there's very few instances where you read something that wasn't directly observed by them, and as a result sometimes something weird and a little unexplained can happen.
Most of the chapters are probably PG-12 - but it is a harsh world, and gun battles and brutal melee is definitely a thing. There's also some adult content and some scenes of attempted kidnapping and rape of some of the team, and there's a few instances of torture. It's all (hopefully) in context for the story, and I try to keep it implied or not too heavy on the detail - enough so you know what's going on, without being gratuitous.
