It was summertime in the Island of Sodor, where it expects the most visitors. In Ostania, Summer Break happened and the Forgers have won a holiday to Sodor! The catch: WISE has rigged the lottery because one of the most dangerous criminal gangs they sought to capture, is planning to take over Soder and start a new war. As that were enough, Garden also has hits there as well.
When the peaceful island is at risk of war, one thing is certain: the world’s best family will work together with the Number 1 Tank Engine and his friends to save their island from War! (Meanwhile the Diesels plan their own attack on these criminals)
In other words: they all have to be Really Useful!

This fanfiction was a long time in the making. I'm really attached to this. But summery. On the island of Sodor the engines found out that they can turn into humans. It's a major plot point but, there was also many threats on the island. It leaves many dead. Sir topham hatt, after finding out that some of his engines are dead he retired and leaves more issues in his place.

As belief rekindles, danger follows in the form of Diesel 10 and P. T. Boomer, two bitter forces determined to erase Lady and the Magic Railroad forever.
With the rails breaking, the magic fading, and time running out, humans and engines alike must uncover the truth of the legend before it vanishes forever.

After Diesel 10 and Boomer were defeated and the gold dust had been restored, Thomas, Lady and the gang head back to Tidmouth Sheds. There they reunite with the engines and two certain someones who had been off Sodor during holiday. A one-shot for Thomas and the Magic Railraod's 25th anniversary.
