The rain still stuck where it'd begun to soak into Ranboo's cloak, their legs trembling beneath them as they fought to stay upright. The people who'd noticed them were still walking towards them, more than before, but they couldn't quite make out what they were saying, every breath they sucked into their lungs making them feel like someone had set them on fire from the inside. Everything felt distant and foggy, like someone had stuffed chorus peels into their ears, their vision swimming into an incomprehensible mess.
Arms caught them before they fell to the ground, strong and solid, but their vision was swallowed by black before they could make out their rescuer, the last thing they saw was a simple dull flash of pink.
They hoped... all they could do was hope that 'rescuer' was an apt title.

She pressed herself flatter against the wall, willing the shadows to keep her. From the angle of the arch she could see the faint spill of lamplight growing along the floor, the way it shivered with each step he took.
